Though Buckland tends to be a bit dry, and write like a textbook author (which is essentially what this book is), this is a decent, beginner's guide to Wicca and Witchcraft and I highly recommend that anyone who is setting out on a Wiccan path at least gives this book a chance. The entire book is not entirely helpful to everyone, but it's very simple to pick and choose what you need and do not need (for example, if you are a solitary practitioner, you can disregard the things concerning covens).
