The Wonderful Wizard of Oz

The Wonderful Wizard of Oz - L. Frank Baum I'm so glad to finally be rereading these books! I don't think I've read any of them since I was maybe 11 or 12, possibly younger, and they've been on my wishlist/to-reread list for a very long time now. This was a very short, easy read (although it took me two days to finish, thanks to this reading slump I'm in, blah), and I very much enjoyed getting reacquainted with the characters and the world. I think these are books I would recommend to pretty much anyone. They're like fairy tales, a bit, but more modern than the Anderson and Grimm brothers tales. A little adventure, a little sadness, a little heartwarming. They're just nice, cozy books.
